Belated Memorial: I met Helen originally thru Weight Watchers back in the 80's. She was a wonderful Lady & came to mean a lot to me. Later, She & Chris Kennedy encouraged me to serve on the Republican Central Committee where I also was the Secretary. She, Chris and I had lots of fun & success under her leadership. The 3 of us also represented AA CO on the 5th Congressional Disrict Rep. Committee. I loved & respected Helen & John & was happy to get to visit them at their home in FL in Feb 2003(thanks for the visit to that resaurant with the Monkey Island). Lots of good memories (crab feast fundraisers for the 5th CDRC, Lincoln day dinners. AA Co fairs, campaigns etc.! I will miss her and know she & John are in a good place. Helen you were one of the most important people in my life. I learned a lot from you thru all the years. Thank you, with Love, Joanne

I will remember Auntie for her love of family above everything else. She taught us children, through example, about conducting ourselves with honor, dignity and passion in all situations. I will remember her for being the utmost devoted wife to her Husband, my Uncle. I know they are together now and this gives me peace.

Helen was the family historian (along with John) and I will miss her stories. Her hospitality was the best and my family has wonderful memories of parties at her pool. It was a pleasure to be in her company.

Helen was a lovely, delightful person.
I knew her when she was President of RWAAC and for many years after that.

Citrus Republican Womens Club wishes to send our sympathies to Helen's family. We wish to express our thanks for her many years of dedicated service: as a Republican woman and as an organizer and member of our Club. Her guidance, her intellect, her passion all helped in the continuance of our mission - Republican women in the role of leaders.
May God Bless and keep all of the family in His hand as you endure this loss

I only came to know Helen after she grew ill but when she was in a talkative mood, she would tell me delightful stories of her family and friends but her beautiful smile when she talked told it all! I am sorry for your loss. Helen is one patient I will remember always!

I'll always remember her as a very classy and gracious woman. I loved swimming at her pool in Davidsonville with my cousins. I loved that house. That was always a treat:)
