On Monday, November 15, 2010 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Linda Brenneman; father of Jennifer Long (Rich), Stephen Brenneman and Michelle Mamakos (Michael); grandfather of Zachary Long; brother of Sherri Brenneman-Bell. Relatives and friends may call at Spencerville Free Methodist Church, 2100 Spencerville Road, Spencerville, MD on Thursday, November 18 from 6 to 7 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

What a joy it was working with Homer. He was always willing to offer guidance when asked. Never a complaint or ill word to come from his lips. He was a wonderful mentor and inspiration. My deepest condolences.

Not only was Homer a dedicated professional and Founding Father of AMC's COOP Program, but he was also a very dear friend and mentor to me. He touched the lives of all he came in contact with. I will never forget him.
