IDELL M. BROWN (Age 90)
On Thursday, December 22, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Jack H. Brown, Sr.; mother of Susan B. Marchone (Bob) and Jack H. Brown, Jr. (Beverly Henderson); grandmother of Karen and Robert Marchone, Jr. and Susan Brown Peth (Conor); sister of the late Lee E. McClintock. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday December 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, December 30 from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Sue & family,
Idell was a wonderful mother and person. She was impeccably dressed for all occasions, even going to the grocery store. I always admired her for wanting to look her best no matter where she was going. I know these last 10 years were tough but she is at rest now and can again be the person she was or anything she wants to be. She had a blessed life and wonderful children and grandchildren. She will be missed by so many people but I know you all have such great memories.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Sue, Jack and families:
I am so sorry about the loss of your wonderful mother. She is the last of our Windham family. You were so lucky to have Mrs. Brown as your mom. Every morning she made delicious breakfasts that included all the things that everyone else in the neighborhood wanted. Your mom and my dad shared the same birthday in March and the whole neighborhood celebrated. I feel like all the moms were our moms. I will miss her and wish you peace.
