JAMES G. BUFFINGTON
On Tuesday, October 25, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mary Buffington and Barbara M. Buffington; father of the late James W. and John T. Buffington; grandfather of Sean Buffington, Kathleen Worth, Karen Orcev, Dawn Waugh, and Angela Buffington; step-father of Frederick Gleitsman; father-in-law of Carolyn Buffington. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 1200 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment private. Sorry to hear about Uncle Jim. He lived a long life and had pretty good health up to the last couple of years. He will be missed. He was a character, that all who came in contact with him, wouldn't ever forget him.

Dear Buffington Family,
Jim will be much missed by his friends and fellow volunteers at College Park Aviation Museum. He had been a wonderful, faithful and well liked part of our "Ground Crew". I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the service in person as the museum has a Halloween program and I must help with the front desk duties. He will be in my thought as that is where he worked best. fondly, Jane Welsh and all the staff at CPAM
