JAMES EDWARD MRAZEK  COL US Army (Retired)/Author  
On Saturday, March 16, 2013 of Washington, DC. During WWII, he helped develop and organize glider infantry operations and served in Europe. After the war, he was Army Military Attaché in Prague, served on staffs in Europe, Korea, and the Pentagon, and on the faculty of the Command and General Staff College. He is the author of four books on military history. Beloved husband of Thelma Stevens Mrazek; father of James E. Mrazek, Jr. LT. Col US Air Force (Retired) of Sacramento, CA and the late Joanne Clarke; grandfather of Randy and Terri Clarke. Also survived by two nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to coincide with Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium with Full Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Army Distaff Foundation/Knollwood, 6200 Oregon Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20015 or West Point Military Academy. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
