On Thursday, February 6, 2014 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved brother of the late William C. Burke, Sr., Joseph F. Burke, Elizabeth Marie Thomassen and Robert Burke; loving uncle of Joanne Gardner, Elizabeth Rhinehart, Mary Romanelli, Marjorie Courtney, Joseph Burke, Kathleen Daywalt, Normi Burke, William Burke, Terrence Burke, Patrick Burke, Ellen, Burns, Debra Quattlebaum, Deirdre Hoehn, James Burke, Mary Burke, Mary Jane Thomassen, G. William Thomassen, Elizabeth Matthews, Paul Thomassen and the late Robert Thomassen. Also survived by many loving family members. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, February 14 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
