JAMES RAYMOND BERGMANN
On Saturday, March 24, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Barbara Bergmann; father of Michael (Karen) Bergmann, Brian (Annette) Bergmann, Tracy (Robert) Bees and James L. (Mary) Bergmann. Also survived by eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Arcola Ave and Kemp Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. Aunt Barbara and cousins,
I am so sorry for the great loss. He will be sorely missed. I wish I was able to come up and pay my respects, I'm sorry I was not there. I heard the services were beautiful and I read the words that Mike spoke at the funeral and thought it was amazing! We have made a donation to the Melonoma research center in Uncle Jims name. Dear Aunt Barbara,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Jimmy's passing. I'll always remember him sitting in front of the cottage and laughing as I made 50 trips back and forth up the dirt road hauling in Jack's baby gear. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had only gotten to know Jim over last few years and I found his whole family are very ice and easy going. I have a few times talk with Jim and Barbara on the pier a few times, and with talking with him and Barbara I would learn a little more about Bergmann's beach history.
