On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Emilia D. Reedy; father of Sante L. Reedy and Elaine M. Larkin; grandfather of Christopher J. and Jennifer E. Larkin; brother of Marcille Goodrick, Kay Beohm and Margie Hall; companion of Angie Beckmann. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD on Tuesday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I'll always have Mr. Reedy to thank (or blame) for getting me into the automotive aftermarket. He was a great salesman & teacher. I will remember him & Sandy & Elaine in my prayers

Mr. Reedy will be missed. My Dad, Jim, introduced me to him up in Thomas, WV and he showed me his collection of vehicles. Heaven has a new tinkerer. Robin Schoen (Washington, DC)

I am sorry for the family's loss but I don't believe Mr. Reedy will be resting in peace....he will be helping God rebuild a fully blown '40 Ford that has been chopped and channeled. God wants the best and He got him.

As we are all put here for a reason. Its sometimes hard to know why. His reason to me, was to touch my life and show me direction. I will miss his friendship and shaking his hand each time we met. My heart goes out to the Reedy family.

May you rest in peace, Uncle Jimmy. Remembering you in many happy ways - sitting in your office when I would come to visit, pancakes on Sunday after Mass, you carving turkey, and my favorite, reading the comics to Millie after her eye surgery. We will miss you! Love, your Goddaughter, Donna
