On Friday, December 17, 2010, of Potomac, MD. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Noel; devoted mother of James Noel, Joyce Callaghan and Janine Horneff; proud grandmother of Emily and Victor Noel, Brian and Colin Callaghan, Sarah, Katie and Kevin Horneff. To Jim, Joyce and Janine-
I was thinking of your mom today and learned about her passing when I searched for her name. Kathleen passed on the news about this website, for which I am most grateful.
I was very saddeded when I learned the news of your mother's passing-she was one of the most Christian people I ever had the pleasure to know. She was kind, loving and gentle with a wonderful sense of humor. I too loved the times we spent together in your home when we were all kids.
I saw her several years ago when I was in town to visit, when my own mom was not doing so well. I thought a visit with Janice would help. My mom was so happy to spend some time on her front porch, talking about kids and grandkids. As usual, your mother was positive, kind and caring. I so admire her courage and faith and close ties with her family-she cherished each and every one of you. I know she is in heaven now looking over all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families.

Dear Jim, Joyce and Janine, I just learned of your mother's passing and I cannot tell you how sad it makes me. I cherished the times I spent at your house when we were neighbors. Your parents were wonderful people, but your mother was the kindest, most positive person who always looked for and found the good in everyone. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a good and kind friend. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I know your mother has earned her reward of eternal life! Your mom was my mother's best friend for 75 years, a wonderful Christian woman who brightened the lives of everyone around her. I spent two delightful evenings with her about a year ago when I returned to Maryland for my mother's burial, and I will treasure her many kindnesses to my mother, my brother, and me.
