Some people do pass away, but not Aunt Jeanne. Everyone who knows her is better for it. I'm sure Dad is showing her the ropes now and she is, as usual, wonderng how to make us feel better.

So very sorry of your loss of my grade school classmate. Our parish was St. Louis for some thirty years as we raised our family in "Simpsonville" but we never connected after the eight grade. My loss.

Paul - Words cannot express my feelings at this time. Jeanne has been my "best friend" since 1st grade. I will miss her. My love and prayers to you and the family.

Martein Family: A few months ago as I sat in Panera Bread, I got a tap on my shoulder and a huge hug from Jeanne. I was so happy to see her and she sat and we crammed in everything about our families in 30 minutes. She proudly told me about each of her children and what was going on and then all of the grandchildren and so on and then Paul and his service and she beamed with pride on all fronts. We held hands and we hugged and kissed with a promise to get together. It was a heartwarming lunch with a surprise visit that I was not expecting. She had just had lunch with one of her best friends and had thoroughly enjoyed that. Jeanne looked fabulous and was her usual loving life self. Our visit made me smile and I left remembering about the times we spent as kids with their family. We parted with a laugh and a hug and kiss and her huge smile and I will love her forever. My heart is with all of you as you deal with the loss of a fabulous woman that touched all of our lives in such an amazing way.

Martein Family,
Please know that we are thinking of you. Jeanne was truly someone special and it is difficult to believe she is no longer with us. We will miss her infectious laughter and kind words. She always thought of others instead of herself - and she always looked on the bright side of life.
Love,
John and Dewey O'Donnell
