On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Michael F. Audet; mother of Michael P. Audet (Susie), John A. Audet (Anne) and Renee A. McCaw (Brian); grandmother of James, Julia and John Audet, Kayla , Shannon, Bridget and Brian McCaw and Conner Audet; sister of Patricia Myers; daughter of the late Arthur and Angela Myers. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20902 on Friday, August 10, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 11, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Interment private. Dear Michael,
I met Jill in February 1986. She was truly a good friend and a special boss.
Her care and concern for her employees was great. SHe inspired me in lots of ways.
Please remember me to Renee and the rest of your family. I only heard of her passing lately.

My wife, Elaine, and I want to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. We join my sister Pat in the sentiments she wrote of how Jill was such a great comfort to both my parents in their last weeks of life and was so special in communicating with and supporting all members of our family through those sad and painful days. To us, Jill was a living saint, a wonderful, beautiful person.

Mr. Audet, John, Mike, Renee and Family: I am very sorry for the pain you are feeling right now. I wish I had words that could provide you comfort.
I want to thank you for sharing your Wife and Mom with me and so many others for all of these years. From the moment I met her as a little boy with a cut on my knee at St. John the Evangelist health room through all the years as a friend to the family I felt I was under Mrs. Audet's special care.
I loved her spirit and spunk, I loved the way she lived and enjoyed her life, I loved how she was always looking out for those in need, and I loved how she and all of you have always let me be a part of your family.
Mrs. Audet had a certain way about her. A wonderful thing I can say is how much of her I see in all of you.

The times I spent with the Audet family will forever be in my heart. I would visit their house and there would be highchairs and babies and toddlers and toys, older grandchildren and their own children. It was a house full of love and Jill never missed a beat. On top of all this she and Uncle Mike were also caring for my dying cousin. She made it all seem so effortless. She guided me through the more difficult days, she taught me how to do the right things when I was scared. She came in a moment's notice when I called. She was then, and now even more, a Saint. I am so fortunate to have had her in my life. Praying for strength for her whole big, loving family at this time of such loss.

Mrs. Audet was a beautiful person inside and out. I consider it a privilege to have been able to know her. She treated me just like I was her grand-daughter and I think I can speak for all of her grandchildren's friends when I say that.

Jill is exceptional. In the flesh she represented Christ in all her actions. Her way is the way of love. She shared our joys and sorrows. She embraced all - weak, strong, big and small. I have received her love and kindness in a very personal way at the sudden passing of my husband's brother in March, 2012. I loved seating next to Jill on the choir and I loved her courage on the tambourine. We shared notes about which songs on the gospel stations that were our driving companion. Jill is part of my salvivic journey. God ordained my meeting her.

Jill helped and befriended people who were having a hard time. I got to know her because she sought me out, having heard I was suffering. My heart breaks that she's gone from us but I know she will enjoy eternity with Our Lord.
