John, Words cannot express the emotions that one goes through at the loss of a father. Peter and I lost our father when we were 16 years old to a massive heart attack. He died within three hours. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of great grief and sorrow. We pray that the Lord will bless and comfort you and your family always.

McCarty Family,

I am sorry to here about Jack. You all were like an extended family to us in Maine and we had some great times and memories that live on to this day. I am sure Chris and Jack have caught up again and probably are not waiting for the noon whistle to blow to make a trip to the fridge.

Take Care,

Dave

Jack was a great neighbor -- we loved his outgoing nature and admired him tremendously as a devoted father, husband and grandfather. He liked to tell us stories about the neighborhood in the early days -- how a visiting repairman thought there was an orphanage on the street because there were so many children! He would love to see that our street looks like that again and there is a toddler running across his lawn (like ours used to do when we moved in). He and Carolyn's efforts in the building of Holy Cross Church to the neighborhood will serve as a legacy to his memory and to his family. Jack and Carolyn, we miss you! Watch over Euclid Drive and our kids!

Your Dad and Mom were two of the most wonderful people I've ever met. I hold the memories of them fondly and feel honored to have known them. Sending all our love from California.

Kathy and Tim,

We are both very sad over the passing of your father. Jack was a great guy to all who met him and was always, as was your mother, very gracious to us.
I could listen to his military stories forever and loved when he used to explain to me, more than once I might add, how Chuck Noll used to do it!!
He will be missed by many.

All of our best.

Tim,

So sorry to hear about your Dad. Your parents were such good friends of Dan and Lois for so many years. They had a ball together from Duquesne to Marco Island and lots in between. I really enjoyed seeing them with my parents, they put a smile on each others face...every time.

Marsha and I have you, Paula and your whole family in our prayers.

My Best
