Mr. Runkle was a sweet and caring man. He treated my children like they were his own grand kids when they were around. He shared his lake house with our family. We have many wonderful memories of fun times with Pa and Ma Runkle as we called them. We send our love to Mrs. Runkle, Kenny,
Joyce, Matthew, Casey, Kevin, and Gail and her family.

John John and Aileen are 2 great people and we love them both.mama says John John spoils us and all kids because when they come to the lake John John always brought us candy. We loved to try to help John John and Aileen but after a while they would say it was time to go home.John is up in heaven with JESUS now and We know he has one of the prettiest gardens with no deer, squirrels or bugs to eat it up and plenty of vegetables, but his garden down here will really miss him and so will we.He is watching over us from heaven above so when you miss him just talk to him and he will hear you.We will pray for everyone of you and remember John John loved us all and we love you all.(Harley,Timothy"Bubba"
was asking a lot of questions when they found out about John and this was what they came up with so I thought I would post this from them)

Dear Aileen,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know that it has been years since I've seen you but I had heard the news through my mom and grandmother (G. Barnes). I have fond memories of when I was young and we'd come to visit. Please take care.

Aileen, I can't find the words to express my sorrow on John's passing. You both have been good friends to Cliff and me ever since we joined the Moose. You are in my prayers that God will sustain you during this trying time.
