On Sunday, February 6, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Mary M. Lawrence; father of Anna Lawrence Kim and the late John F. Lawrence, II, Jeannie Obolensky and Mary Jane Lawrence; grandfather of Maya, Dylan and Braden Kim. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, February 10 from 12:30 to 1 p.m., where a Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. What great memories you have of a wonderful man. No matter how much time passed between our visits your Dad always kicked off a conversation as if we had just spoken the day before. I will always remember his warm hug and enormous smile. What a reunion he must be having in Heaven!
