On Monday, June 25, 2012, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of Paula T. Nolan; father of Mary P. Sharer, Teresa A. Habina, Catherine M. Nolan, John P. Nolan and Colleen M. Kelly; grandfather of Kelly, Katelyn, Brayden, Dominic, Matthew, Connor and Kelsey; brother of Catherine Glancy and Marie Searles. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, June 29 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I have great memories of Uncle John throughout the years and it was always great to see him with his wonderful family - especially at the very festive weddings for his children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Paula, Teresa, Catherine, John, Mary, Colleen and grandchildren, along with surviving siblings Catherine and Marie.

I am blessed to have had time with Uncle John as an adult in addition to growing up as his niece. I so enjoyed his company and talking to him on the phone. I will cherish our trip last year to upstate NY. Though he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, I will still hold a small piece of him in my heart.
