John Unger was my pledge father at Sig Ep Cornell. He was an inspiration to me for his love of the English language. I didn't graduate from Cornell but will always remember him. Dave Symula (Turtle)

John was my fraternity brother (sigma Phi Epsilon) at Cornell and best man in my wedding. He was an intellectual and could be quite inventively funny, especially in addressing the English language.
