Jerry was the Head Carpenter at the Eisenhower Theater the very first call I took there in 1981....I think it was a load out of Outrage.I don't think I'd ever taken a call at the Kennedy center before and was young and green, but he took time to share his knowledge with a young kid that he and never met before. That was Jerry and that is a quality that is sadly missing these days.i regret that I missed the viewing and service because I was teaching and rehersing an opera but I think he would understand.I am very glad I got to see him 2 days before he passed to share some stories. You will be missed Maddog

Jerry was one of the nicest stagehands I ever worked with. He was a consummate professional and a dedicated union member. I am proud to have known him and to have been his Union brother. Sail on, Mad Dog. You will be sorely missed.
