On Thursday, October 28, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of Maria Aguilar; beloved brother of Gloria Gonzalez, Aura N. Bihun, Sandra Cerrato and Rudy Valdes; father of Sergio and Raul Cerrato; grandfather of Matthew Cerrato. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine Laboure, Veirs Mill and Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD, on Wednesday, November 3, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Our favorite versus in the Bible are II Timothy 4:6-8, it is written by Paul before he was put to death, he talks about keeping the faith, fighting the good fight and finishing the race. These versus fit our beloved brother Jose to a tee. He has been in our hearts and prayers for a long time now and we were able to share the good news of Christ with him and we believe that someday we will see his smiling face once again. Jeremy Camp has a song called "There will be a day", there is a lyric in the song” There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain and no more fears”, we believe this with all my heart, no matter how much we suffer there will be a day when Jesus will wipe away all of our suffering as the song says as He did with Jose, we invite you to listen to the below song and when you do think of Jose.

My desk was next to Jose's at work when he found out about his cancer. We knew the only way out with stomach cancer was a miracle and the only way to be justified a miracle by GOD was to fight for it. At first I thought his miracle didn't happen, but realized he was granted the greatest miracle of all...He went to see Jesus. I'll miss you my friend, Love Dano.
