JOSEF PETER RADL (Age 77)
On Friday, April 29, 2011, of Hyattsville, MD passed away at Holy Cross Hospital surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Mary DiGuilio Radl; father of Anna (Joseph) Sieber, Gina Miller, John and Kathleen Radl; grandfather of Christopher Sieber; brother of Frank (Inga) Radl, Elizabeth Logiudice and Theresa (Richard) Eibel. Joe was born August 21, 1933, in Gant, Hungary, the son of the late Peter and Anna Radl. He served in the US Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky in the 101st Airborne Division and later as an Army reservist. After his honorable discharge he worked as an iron worker and later became a barber and owned J & J Barber shop for 45 years. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jerome's Church, 5205 43rd Avenue, Hyattsville, MD, on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Aunt Mamie, Anna, Gina, Johnny and Kathy, We were so very sorry to hear about Uncle Joe. I will always have the memory of him with a big smile on his face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Hang in there and love to you all!

I remember Joe as a very funny and busy man. He worked a lot and played even harder. He loved his children and his Mary very much. He was a great neighbor to have.

Joe was my barber for many years while I was growing up in the Hyattsville area. Joe cut my father's hair and many of my brothers hair. On some of my recent visits back to the DC area I stopped in and had Joe cut my hair. Joe always had a smile and always remember who I was. Joe was a great person and may God Bless his soul!

Uncle Joe gave my son his first haircut as he did to many of his customers. He was always pleasant and happy. Always a smile on his face. We will miss you Uncle Joe and my condolences to Aunt Mamie, Anna, Gina, John and Cathy. May God Bless you all.
