The old neighborhood has lost a lot of good people this year. Thanks for being the best friend a kid could grow up with. You will surely be missed.

My family knew Mike for many years through the Amoco/BP garage in our neighborhood. As a businessman, he was honest, forthright, and committed to customer service. Over time, I got to know him as a good man who had a ready smile and a quick wit. We're very sorry that his life was cut short. We will miss him.

My deepest sympathy to the Byrne's family. I met Mike back in 1980 when I worked at the bank down the street. He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.

Our family has known Mike for so many years I can't count them. He was always there at the Amoco nowBP station, driving the tow truck, coming to jump a battery, change a tire, ect. So many things that they are too numerous to mention. Rest in peace, we will miss seeing you.

I have known Mike for ever 30 years. I watched him go from an employee of the Aamoco in 4 Corners to the Owner of the Auto Shop. It was amazing to watch the transformation. Mike was always good to my family when he would fix our cars - not demanding payment at that moment if we needed some extra time. His heart was so big!! I will miss him very much. RIP Mike - until we see you again my friend!
