JULIAN BASIL JACKSON
On Saturday, March 30, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of Ann A. and Basil P. Jackson. He is also survived by his aunts Cynthia J. Brown and Jerrie M. Hart; and uncles Calvin L. Alexander, Clarence L. Jackson, Warren T. Jackson and Kenneth F. Jackson. Also survived by many cousins and close friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Repast to follow at the church in the Williamsburg Room. Our hearts are lonely as we watch out our windows for Julian as he journeyed to his various activities, and chatted with him across the street.

julian was a kind gentleman. i will never forget how good he was to me durning my time of difficulty when i lost my grandaughter, age 19. his sincere words comforted me when nothing else made sence. may God give you comfort in thie time of loss. when i go to dialysis now the room seems so empty. our julian is not there. sincerely, mrs alberta young lee

I am incredibly sorry to hear about Julian. I remember him as one of my brother's friends from Lab. Julian had such charisma and a great sense of humor! I hope you take some comfort in knowing how fondly he is thought of and remembered.

I remember Julian well. he was one grade above me. he always had on a winter coat and a backpack slung over one shoulder, and he was always laughing, which made me laugh as well. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I remember Julian's smile as he would come into my office and say ,Good Morning. Then he would say," I hope I won't see you the rest of the day." My wife and I send our condolences.

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, Julian was a fantastic person and a great friend. I will always cherish the memories from our childhood: growing up on Compton Street and talking to each other from our windows.
