On Friday, October 14, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved daughter of Rev. Russell L. Stewart and the late Betty L. Stewart; sister of Nancy Stewart. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, November 4, 2011 where memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment private. Kathy had a phenomenally upbeat spirit that was contagious. Regardless how glum the situation looked, she always found something to be cheerful about. A good friend, her passing leaves a gigantic chasm. Her life was filled with beauty, grace, and elan. The world has lost one of its finest people.
