On Sunday, September 1, 2013 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Pennington; sister of Christine and the late Louise. Relatives and friends may call at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Colesville Road and Highland Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. with funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church Memorial fund.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Art and Kay were good friends of my parents, Rodney and Thoma Petersen, and were guests at my husband's and my wedding in 1976. I often thought of her in the past few years. Kay was very special. My condolences to you.
