Stan, I'm SO sorry that we weren't at the Wake and Funeral. We wanted to attend both. I don't know what I was thinking, but only too late realized that our visit with our grandson, in Norfolk, wasn't until this weekend. PLEASE accept our SINCEREST condolences, know that, you, Laurie and the Family are in our Prayers. I'm SO sorry about not having been there, in "Person," to deliver these condolences. I'm sure that nobody realizes, except you, what you're feeling, but am equally as sure that, your strong Faith in God and belief in Heaven will shepherd you through these sad times. Know that, as late as these words might have reached you, they are no less sincere. I hope to see you soon, sometime, when you're back to our MG Activities and Meetings. God Bless, Stan, and Know that you'll continue to be in my Prayers.
Abrazos,
Bill

Laurie was my "Other Mom" growing up. I can't think of a time when she was not part of my life. We shared so much over the years from Bobbsey Twins books to baby care tips. She will be greatly missed. Whenever I hear "You light up my life" by Debby Boone I think of Laurie and that special SOR class from St. Patrick's.

Laurie and I were both in the chorus together of a production of "Fiddler on the Roof" by the Music & Drama(MAD) Club at the Goddard Space Flight Center, where her hsband, Stan, worked. I have many fond memories of Laurie from that time.

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Way from my childhood--did you know she could do the hula dance? Memories of her make me smile. She was a very special lady. Sending love to her family. Debbie Gaillard (Russ and Anne Dennis' daughter)

Laurie positively impacted so many lives and helped instill the confidence I have in me today. Her kind heart and generous spirit manifested itself repeatedly in her work, and she will truly be missed -- her message and mission will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched. Sending love and healing thoughts to Stan and loved ones.

Hi Mom. I know how much you like reading, so just in case you get the Internet up there, I thought I would let you know that I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down.

Laurie was a beautiful spirit with a gift for bringing out the best in others. I will always treasure the time I had with her working on plays when I was in high school. She will be very missed.
