Ten years soon, my dad! As i see these comments, which i was to grief stricken to focus on, then, i add only: believe the hype! Greatest person i EVER met.

My condolences to the family of my telephone friend Larry. His laughter and upbeat spirit helped me through a terrible phase in my life. I miss him dearly. Friends like him do not come along every day. God blessed me with his friendship, even if it was for but a short time.

Larry was my friend and trusted r.e loan man. We were always kidding around, brain storming and laughing together about ways to "hit it big"

I miss him so much too!

I was sorry to hear of Larry passing away. I have known Larry for almost 50 years. We both lived on Furman Parkway in Riverdale, MD back in the 1960's. After we both moved, I used to see Larry in the 1980's when I went into the Congressional Plaza Hot Shoppe for breakfast almost every day, which he was managing. We would sit and talk, cut up and kid - He had a great sense of humor and was just plain fun to be around. Later he would consult with me on various business matters and we would try to stay in touch. The last time I saw Larry was in the grocery store in Olney, MD. He was one of those special people who you could never say anything bad about. He was a priceless gem of a person. I really got emotional when I learned of his passing. My heart goes out to the Derx Family. Larry will be sorely missed.
The best way to describe Larry was he was one cool guy!

Derx family.

Sorry about Larry's passing. I knew Larry from sometime back in the late 1980's when I first started out in real estate. Our paths crossed over the years a few times.....we just ran into each other. He was nice guy. I always enjoyed talking to him.

I hope his last days were not full of suffering or pain and that has soul now rests in peace. My sympathies.

I am very sorry for you losing a wonderful Father, husband and friend of so many. I will always remember Larry as being very kind to us boys when we would come to visit with Marty and family. We had great fun riding bikes, Marty always had a cool one! Go Carts or just playing on the swingset, when we were very young kids. I know Larry took great pride in your property there, can still see him mowing, trimming or decorating for holiday seasons. May you be comforted to know he is with our Lord Christ...one day we shall all be in that blessed estate together. Take faith, walk in faith, and may the Love of God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit along with Mary and all the saints, wherein Larry now dwells, be you comfort and peace.
Love to all the family from your neighbor and friend,

There are no words sufficient to adequately express my deep sadness and sorrow for all of you at this incredibly difficult time. The warmth of his generosity, the sparkle in his eyes and the lighthearted sense of humor that were his trademarks were just glimpses of the joy, light and warmth of unending love he is now experiencing in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Much love,
