I have such fond memories of your mother. She was my second mom growing up and I think of our moms taking us to nursery school, McDonald's, Gino's, gymnastics, etc. I remember her also as one of the first "supermoms," nurse by night, pancake maker extraordinaire by day. And always use REAL maple syrup from Vermont! My thoughts are with you and your family. I love you, Yogi. Catriona

It always seemed that Lena and Jose were two sides of the same coin...there for one another in all ways. Our thoughts are with our neighbor Jose and his family at this difficult time.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of our neighbor, Lena Vargas. We always enjoyed talking to her and admired her work at the hospital. We send our love and sympathy to Jose and their entire family in this sad time.

I was so saddened to hear of your mom's passing. It was always so uplifting when your mom and dad would visit the Guay family. They were always there for my mom, thick and thin, and again with my dad. Your mom, who'd always ask me to call her Lee after I'd say, "Hey Mrs. Vargas," would update us on what's up in Garrett Park, and she loved to offer updates of you all. She'd always encourage me to speak some French and she didn't mind my odd French accent. -- tommy guay
