LEROY J. FANGMEYER, SR. (Age 85)
On Thursday, January 26, 2012, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Rogers Fangmeyer; father of Jeanne (Andy) Crossland, Mary Jo Lanzer, Karen (John) Swarthout, Beth (John) Poulos, Fr. Lee Fangmeyer, Mark (Laura) Fangmeyer and James (Amanda) Fangmeyer; brother of Robert Fangmeyer, Loretta Dustin and the late Paul and Albert Fangmeyer. Also survived by 28 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Monday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 31 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's School, P.O. Box 429, Ridge, MD 20680.

Dear Fangmeyer Family, I recently learned of the passing of Mr. Fangmeyer and wanted to pass on my condolences. I was on the Parkland swim team with Mary Jo (a great swimmer) and her sisters (also great swimmers)and remember Mr. Fangmeyer as one of the timers at our Saturday morning swim meets and as a very nice man. I am sorry for your loss.
