"Aunt" Margaret was a wonderful, loving presence in my life for as long as I can remember. Her positive attitude and sense of humor lit up a room and those around her. She was smart, loving and funny and a great conversationalist. I remember the excitement when my Mom, her dearest friend, would read her letters from Uncle Joe's diplomatic posts. They would come on thin, airmail paper and would be filled with incredible descriptions of live abroad. Best of all, we always knew they would soon be back in the neighborhood and that the two families have time together before the next assignment. After my Mom passed away and as I became an adult Aunt Margaret became a treasured friend to me too and to my Dad. She was a link to my family's early days but also very much a woman who moved with the times, enriching the lives of those lucky enough to know her with her wisdom and special point of view. I will miss her very much. I send my love and prayers to Joe, Heather and Tom and to their families.
