Just saw this and it blew me away. I was a friend of Mark's for a few months and I have to say he was all about "well my kids ..." He loves his kids first and foremost.

Dear Lisa and Eric:
I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad and especially at this stage of your life; he will always be with you in your heart.
I always admired the relationship you had with your Dad. I know this is a very difficult time for you;but your Dad is in a better place and he no longer has to suffer. I will keep you in my prayers. Just knowing how much your Dad loved you is something you will always have. God bless!

I was very saddened on Fri,, last week ro hear of your loss of Mark. He was a great friend of myself and many V.-Ball % Horseshoe players. Please know that we share your sorrow and will always miss him & his generosity & friendship ar Calverton Swim Club.
He was a giving/sharing man to others and a fun, salt-of-the-earth interesting man to spend time with. May God bless & comfort you--Eric, Lisa,Susan, Onix & families always. The Pool will miss Mark for sure!!

Lisa and Eric your Dad was a wonderful father and a gentle and kind man. Although he was taken way too early I believe he was blessed to be able to meet his destiny which was to produce two amazing children who I know he loved with all his heart and who became adults that he so admired and was incredibly proud of. Please know that we have you both; as well as your Dad, in our prayers. Always remember he will live on in your heart and your many wouderful memories. Much love to you both.
