On Friday, March 11, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Ruth Mathias; precious brother of Marcia (Bob) Wilson and Marilyn Mathias (Jim Nowlin); uncle of Theo and Olivia Nowlin. Also survived by Scooter and Delilah. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, March 18, from 12 to 1 p.m.; where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Marcia & Marilyn - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had just heard about your parents yesterday, and was looking for their obituaries online and saw this sad news instead. I only met Mark once, but he seemed to be a very warm soul. My condolences to you and your families at this very difficult time.
