MARTHA SAVERCOOL RUDIMAN (Age 81)
On Saturday, July 16, 2011 at home in Mt. Dora, FL, formerly of Kensington and Silver Spring. Beloved wife of Andrew Rudiman, Sr., and the late G. Walton Savercool; mother of Michael (Jennie) Savercool, Paul (Sherri) Savercool, Dave (Susan) Savercool, John (Mary K) Savercool, Patricia (Gordon) Hinkle, Mark (Kristin) Savercool; stepmother of Andrew Rudiman, Jr., Paul (Pam) Rudiman, Deborah (Charles) Moore, Christopher (Victoria) Rudiman; sister of Don, Marje and the late Mary Jo and Marilyn. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle, 11600 Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20902, on Thursday, July 21 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I had no direct relationship with Mrs. Savercool, but I give thanks to God for the life she lived, especially as I have experienced it through her wonderful children and grandchildren.
I hear that Mrs. Savercool was a woman of great prayer, and--in particular--had a strong devotion to the rosary. I will be sure to pray one in her memory today. May God continue to bless her and all who loved her.

I will never forget Martha, and what a wonderful sister-in-law and dear friend she was to me. With her gentle ways & loving heart, she was loved by everyone. My sympathy & prayers are with the whole family.
