So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She had a big heart! My deepest condolences at her passing.

January 5, 2013

Mary (Crawford) and family grew up together on Branch Drive. We played Kick the Can until our parents would let us back into the house and spent a lot of time trying to figure life out. The last time I saw Mary she was working at Kaiser-Permanente in Kensington and I brought in my then 7 year old son Corey because he got gasoline in his eye. God bless the Lodato and Crawford families! Love (Nina LaBuda) aka Jeannine Carter!

To All of Mary's Family & Friends ~
My heart is full of sadness for the loss of such a good person! I was a classmate at AHN '69 and we kept in touch for some years after. Only to reconnect again at times: either I would run into her at St. B's May Profession my nieces were in - many years had passed since we had seen each other, (I moved out of state) but we immediately hugged and laughed and shared memories. Thoughts of Mary's BIG smile, vivacious personality & her infectious laugh brings a smile to my face when I remember her now.
May God hold her in the palm of His hand..until we meet again!
Rest in Peace, My Happy Friend!

Mary and I met on our first day at Holy Names, when we noticed we were wearing identical sailor dresses. We hit it off right away and introduced ourselves to Kitty five minutes later. I'll always cherish those friendships. My deepest sympathy goes out to Paul and the girls, and all of Mary's loved ones. Kitty sent me this picture from the day of her wedding, and credits Mary's sister Peggy for taking the pictures that day. There are Mary's talented hands at work, as they would be on thousands of wonderful projects to come. Rest in peace, Mary.

Dear Paul, Beth, Jennifer, Jill and Amanda -Nicole and Corinne just called me to tell me about Mary. Charlie and I are so very sorry and we wanted you to know. We have so many happy memories of time spent with Mary. She was such a great next door neighbor to Mrs Phipps for years; and, she was a warm, caring, and friendly neighbor to us and all our children. As a newer "mom" than Mary, she often encouraged and supported me when I needed advice. We spent many hours talking together while making crafts at St Bernadette's, volunteering at the school and Girl Scouts, lounging at the pool and hanging out at the snackbar and games. She had an infectious laugh that always made me smile. She cared so much about all of you and epitomized what motherhood is all about. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. Sincerely, Pat and Charlie Phipps

I was fortunate to know Mary, as I worked with her a few years ago. She was always smiling, and always wanted everyone around her to enjoy their day and laugh. She always had a joke or story to tell which brightened the lives of all of her coworkers. I know I will miss her.

The world is a better place because of Mary.

My thoughts are with friends and family. My sincerest condolences.

What a wonderful kind spirit Mary carried with her every day. I loved working with her and admired her love and devotion to her family. I know she loved Christmas and I hope the family has many wonderful memories. Go with God Mary.

January 2, 2013

Mary was such a dear, wonderful person. She had such a great sense of humor and creativity, and she made it fun to come to work. I am so blessed to have worked closely with her for a couple years, and will miss her greatly. She was in my thoughts this year as I decorated my Christmas tree as she was the one who explained to me how to do it properly. Now, every year I'll have this special memory of Mary. My deepest sympathy and condolences to you, her family.

Mary came to Washington College and installed lights and decorated the Christmas tree at the President's home for many years. Her skills at installing lights are unmatched...not only did she brighten the tree, but more importantly, she brightened our lives and all who were in her company. We are grateful for the time she shared with us; she will be missed.

The best thing we ever did was move onto Lexington Drive and become friends with Mary and all the Lodatos. Mary always had a way of making everyone that she saw feel welcome. When you walked into a room where Mary was she made you feel like you were *just* the person she wanted to see. She was taken too soon. I will always remember her laughter, smile and the times we shared. Love to Paul, Beth, Jennifer, Jill and Amanda.
