MARY ELIZABETH BOWEN
On Friday, August 26, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Everett Caylor Bowen; mother of Priscilla (Richard) Metcalfe and Christopher (Susan), David and Mark (Naide) Bowen; sister of Lawrence Bailey, Jr., Helen Bailey, and the late Gertrude Rosenbaum and Florence Saxon. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

May you find comfort and peace at this tme my deepest sympathies for the family. Remembering the lovely and wonderful person Mary E. Bowen. I will always remember our Srabble games and the wonderful person who welcomed a strager in her home and made her feel so very welcome always. Your mother was a treasure and I will treasure her memory always. thank you Mary Bowen for all the wonderful deeds you did while on earth.
