Mrs. Lee's dedication to us little girl scouts who wanted to be outdoors when it wasn't always acceptable really helped us to become the women we are today. Every weekend she would take a station wagon load full of us on some sort of outdoor trip, hike, or canoe trip. She always kept everything affordable as she helped us make our packpacks & sleeping bags. And who could forget our $2 tube tents.

Even after I was married and living not far from Camp May Flather, I saw her occasionally and we kept in touch.

And of course my Mother always gave me the latest on Mrs Lee in SR Olympics swimming events.

I'm sure Mrs Lee is actively swimming and canoeing in Heaven and if for some reason these events didn't exist already, then she organized them. Meanwhile, we'll miss her here on earth

Rarely do you find person as outstanding and giving as your mother. We shared an interest in the out of doors, particularly canoeing and both had racks of canoes at our homes. Mimi was a mentor and teacher to me and highly respected. She left a strong example and a life well lived. You can be so proud of her integrity and accomplishments. Love to all of you.

What an amazing woman. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Ms. Lee, but the world was a better place with her in it.

When i was a Girl Scout in the 1970's she taught me canoeing and lifesaving. Any time I see a car pulling canoes I always think of Mrs. Lee. i am sorry to hear of her death. She was a great teacher and leader. I will never forget when my girl scout troup was invited to the Governor's Mansion for a Christmas Party. Thanks for everything mrs. Lee.

To the Lee Family,

Martine and I were very sorry to read of the passing of your gracious and charming Mother. We will always cherish the warm memories of the dinner at your house that your parents provided for Martine’s Alpine French parents.

Richard recalls fondly the softball games and basketball played with John and being Joe’s neighbor at Plaza del Mercado. We are delighted to read Blair’s Gazette column as our endearing contact with your wonderful family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Lee family in this time of sorrow.

The loss you feel, I am sure, must be tempered by the joy that hers was a life well lived. Mimi and Blair are the two most generous and charming people I have ever encountered. To have had the privilege of knowing them is a treasure that will be with me always.

To the Lee family,

I was saddened to hear about your mother's death. I always thought she was a very fine lady. I also enjoyed times playing badminton with her.

Please accept my sympathy and know my prayers are with you at this time.
