MICHAEL JOSEPH MURPHY
Passed unexpectedly at the age of 57, on Monday, October 3, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of Eve and the late Peter J. Murphy, Jr.; brother of Dan, Jim (Debbie) and Mary Ellen Murphy and Kathy (Kevin) Corsillo and the late Pat Anderson. Also survived by his brother-in-law Dave (Sarah) Anderson and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment private. God bless "Father Murphy". Because of him, I'm still & probably always will be on a spiritual quest.
On a more earthly note, over the years, when depression has taken me over, Mike would always call. Always.
May he find the peace,grace and happiness he always looked for.
