Tony & Christine: We were sad about the passing of your Mom Pattty. We enjoyed talking to her whenever she was outside playing with Nicholas. He certainly added sparkle to her days. Because you live next door, we had the good fortune to meet her. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all who have sent prayers, good wishes, flowers, phone calls, cards, donations, and who were able to attend services for my Mom. Although she battled cancer for three years, she was spiritually victorious as she kept true to her core through her last breath. Never a cry of pity, always faithful, concern for those she loved especially her angel grandsons Jack, Justin, and Nicholas, selfless courage, witty humor, infectious optimism, mercy and forgiveness, wisdom of the ages, and a legacy of lessons and love is how she lived. She believed in the qualities and dignity of the human spirit, since those endure. She rejected materialism and lived simply because she knew the flash of material things ends faster than it comes. She was a proud Patriot and wife of a Navy Captain. She was built with a strong hull and weathered many storms that would sink a lesser vessel. Crisis did not make her character, it revealed it. During her treatment at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital, many times she heard the helicopters arriving with the wounded from the wars when she would say to the Nurses and Doctors,"I am fine, go treat the Soldiers now," That was how my Mom lived: Proud Navy Wife and Mom. I miss you and I love you. Your Proud, yet humble son, Paul

Dear Hank, children and grandchildren and Mr.John Lignilli: Your wife, mother, grandmother and daughter was a thoughful, wonderful, kind individual. I knew her from our years at St. Dominic's grade school and through our high school years. She was consistent in her kindness to her friends. You all sure were lucky to have her love and care. Patty has been, and will be in my prayers.
