MOLLY KILLEEN KENNEDY (Age 12)
Challenged from birth, cherished through her short life, "Little Angel" died unexpectedly, yet peacefully, in her sleep on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Beloved daughter of John F. and Kathleen Kennedy (nee Dolan); loving sister of Shannon and John; granddaughter of Elaine Kelley, J.W. "Bill" Dolan, Ruth Kennedy and Glenn Kennedy; also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, February 9 at 11 a.m. Interment Private. So sorry John, to hear the news from your mom yesterday. I was doing some shopping at Smithville & wanted to just see that awesome home of yours where you used to chase your brothers with a live lobster. I hope this poem helps a little; I'm dabbling in writing lately. My condolences to your wife & family; you're certainly in my prayers old friend.

Dear John, Kathleen, and family'
I can't imagine your pain, and I'm sorry for your loss. When I play ball with John I keep thinking, "How does he go on?" I really love you guys. I listened to the eulogies, and everything that was said is so true. Life can be so short and it is such a gift. I think about you guys every day. Every single day. Angels come in many forms, and love shows in many ways. But having "known" Molly from nearly the week she was born (I was a tenant of John's and Kathleen's for many years), I know that having had one another, parents and child and siblings, was a blessing for them all.
It doesn't make the loss hurt any less. It is only important to acknowledge that all of you added to the sums of love and goodness in the world.
