NEVITT AMES MORRIS, SR. (Age 79)
On Wednesday February 8, 2012 of Takoma Park, MD. Beloved husband of 50 years to Yolanda G Morris; father of Eduardo N. (Cheryl), Nevitt V., Florencio A. and Stella Morris (Rojas); grandfather of Sofia Morris, Carlos, Marcos and Jimmy Rojas; brother of Esther Strout, Virginia Miodowski, Pauline Pelletier and the late Juanita Blake and Jim Baity. Also survived by his niece, Faye Lindsey. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, February 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, New Hampshire & Larch Avenues, Takoma Park, MD on Wednesday, February 15 from 10 to 11 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, February 23 at 9 a.m. (please assemble at the administration building by 8:30 am).
