On Thursday, January 20, 2011, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Huntingtown, MD. Beloved husband of Suzanne Scollin Higgins; father of Alicia Burnham and Paula Higgins both of Silver Spring, MD and Eileen Eskandari of Odessa, FL.; grandfather of Kameron, Brayden and Layla Eskandari, Gavin Bahmani and Shea Burnham; brother of Jeanne Higgins Kennedy and the late George W. Higgins, Jr. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) Thursday 7 to 9 p.m., with Memorial Mass at St. Bernadette's Church, 72 University Boulevard East, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, January 28 at 11 a.m. Interment Private.
