We were lucky to have met you and Despina first in London during the wedding of your son Christos, when we were reassured that our sister will be treated like your own daughter, and later in Washington on holidays when you and your family welcomed us, and made us feel at home. After getting to know you more, we surely respect and recognize all the efforts you have put through the years to make sure that you have a lovely family in the real sense. Your grandchildren Peirce, Haley and Alex had the chance to learn from you what is wrong and what is right. As for Pete and Andy (the younger ones), they will get to know you through your family's memories.
It is really sad that you had to leave us, but we are pretty sure that your spirit will always be around especially for Pete and Andy making sure that they will be fine.
You will be always remembered in our prayers and may your soul rest in peace.

To the Economakis Family. We are deeply sorrowed by your loss. We will always remember the many good times that our families shared. May Taki rest in peace and may the Lord grant all of you strength and patience as you remember him. This message was also sent in Greek previously.
