RALPH L. KENNEDY (Age 89)  
On Monday, January 9, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Mary G. Kennedy; father of Barbara Jones (Robert), Michael Kennedy (Carol), Patrick Kennedy (Janet), Timothy Kennedy, Teresa Flick (Paul), Angie Auth (Dave), and the late Kevin Kennedy; brother of Kathryn Holt. Also survived by 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, January 13, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Church, 3315 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville, MD on Saturday, January 14, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Oldham, VA on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital Foundation, 111 Michigan Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20010.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Our condolences to all the Kennedy family. We have such fond memories of your dad, when he and my dad came to California and built our deck. He entertained us every evening with his stories. That deck is a happy reminder of those two old friends. Together again. Both forever in our thoughts.

A very sad time for all indeed. Mr. Kennedy was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. We imagine he is gently holding onto Kevin and meeting up with Mr. Brinton, our Mom and Dad and the rest of the Riverdale friends! Our thoughts and love are with his family.
