Renata Gould was a kind, energetic, cosmopolitan, and funny woman who built a cadre of loyal former students and associates. She had a fascinating work life even after her teaching days were over. When I would run into her on the metro, she always had a wonderful welcoming smile. I never could conceal my admiration for her ability to wear high heels. Renata's unique talents and personality will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Gould was one of my favorite teachers at the Academy of the Holy Names---I remember how she called students either purple creatures or green creatures, depending on how well they did in class. She encouraged us to learn as much as possible, and her classes were never boring! I'm sorry she is gone, as the world has lost a unique and wonderful woman. Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Non l'ho mai conosciuta direttamente ma conosco molto di Lei attraverso gli amorevoli racconti di Suo figlio.
Di Lei mi rimarrà il ricordo di una donna forte e generosa.
