RHODA L. FABISZEWSKI  
Died peacefully and joined the Lord on October 11, 2011. A loving and selfless wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, "Mada" will be greatly missed. Born January 29, 1923 in Baltimore, MD, she was predeceased by her parents, Frederick B. Lauer and Augusta P. Lauer, siblings, John Lauer, Frederick Lauer, Alvera Muth, Ruth Kane and daughter, Anne Marie Fabiszewski. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph E. Fabiszewski, Sr.; siblings, Bernice Edell, Virginia Opfer, Robert Lauer and Theodore Lauer; children, Joseph E. Fabiszewski, Jr., and wife, Kathryn, Mary J. Fabiszewski and James P. Fabiszewski and wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Maxwell J. Fabiszewski, Hannah L. Fabiszewski and Joshua Creel; and great-grandchildren, Dwight J. Creel, Parker J. Creel and Jordan E. Creel. The family will receive relatives and friends at Francis Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD 20901 from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 (valet parking) and on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Riderwood Chapel, Gracefield Rd., Silver Spring, MD 20904, where a Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following at Pine Grove Cemetery, Main St., Mt. Airy, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Marfan Syndrome Memorial Fund at www.marfan.org or The Paget Foundation at www.paget.org.
