On Monday, December 6, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Anita M. Manning; father of John G. Manning and David A. (Nicole) Manning; grandfather of Katherine M. Manning. Relatives and friends may call at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Colesville Rd (at Highland Drive), Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, December 13, from 10 to 11 a.m. where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Worked with Dick at WMATA for a number of years. He was very knowledgeable and was instrumental in developing the rail yard designs in use today. He was a gentleman and a fine engineer. His contributions were significant and he will be missed by all.
