Dear Family, I am Delores O'Connor McGill's daughter Patricia M McGill. I remember the visits of Richard Crowley with my mother, Delores. I remember their laughter and appreciation of one another. Irish laughter is a gift from God. God Bless Richard Crowley.

I am very sorry to hear of the death of Richard. He was very generous to Archbishop Carroll High School, giving a scholarship for our students in memory of his deceased wife, Florence. He was a very good man and I'm confident that he and Florence are now enjoying each others company again in the Kingdom of Heaven. May he rest in peace.

As my sister indicated, our mother Dolores O'Connor McGill was a cousin and good friend of his. When my son, who is now 28, was in junior high, we contacted Dick and talked with him over the phone about O'Connor family history. (My son was doing a report on Ireland for school.) I remember him being kind and good natured. A few years ago, he wrote Mom a card, and, on her behalf, I wrote a letter and sent it to Dick. He then sent a lovely letter that we shared with Mom's sister, Marie O'Connor Muhlenkort. Please know that you have our sincere condolences.

I have good memories of visits of Dick to South Dakota to visit my mother Dolores O'Connor McGill. They will see each other in heaven, since our beloved mother died this past December. They loved to laugh, and share stories. My sincere prayers and thoughts to you his family. Pat McGill
