RICHARD STEVEN WRIGHT
On Saturday, March 30, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of the late Virginia Marie Wright; brother of Shelly (Jim) Henson. Uncle of David James Henson and Sara Marie Henson. Also survived by six great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Montgomery County Unit,801 Roeder Road, Suite 800, Silver Spring, MD 20910.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Richard was one of my dearest friends. He came to visit me in Charleston, SC and had a wonderful time touring the city. He really enjoyed Patriot's Point where we took a lot of pictures. He was a very good friend to my late husband Dwight. He is now with Uncle Paul. I will miss him dearly. R.I.P my friend.

Richard was a wonderful friend and a great help to my mother, especially after my father died. He looked out for her and made her laugh!

Richard was a friend and colleague at the Pentagon Motor Pool where we worked together for many years. He was a wonderful man and I will truly miss him.

Richard was a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by his friens at the VFW. He is with his good buddy John now and they are having a great party!!
