On Sunday, May 12, 2013, of Poolesville, MD. Beloved husband of Kathy Hart; father of Jessica (Shawn) Cissel, Kelly (Kenny) Blinkhorn and RJ Hart; grandfather of Bethany, Sophia, Kole, and Kenley; son of Mary Jane and the late Richard K. Hart, Jr.; brother of Ellen (Henry) Kumm and Theresa (Clyde) Stouffer. Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 4 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Inn at NIH, 7 West Drive, Bethesda, MD 20814.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Rick, we went to school together from kindergarten through the eighth grade and have kept in touch ever since. You worked on my old wrecks of cars and whenever I stopped by just to say, "Hi," you happily pulled out old mementos from your tool chest--and photos of your children and grandchildren--to keep me updated. A little bit of sunshine is gone from Potomac crossroads forever. We will miss you always.
