Beloved husband of Ruby Marie Bergeron for 64 years; father of Sandra Heidenberger, Ronny Bergeron and Robin Unger; grandfather of Katie, Elizabeth, Alex, Jamie B., Adam, Jamie U., Kyle, Eric and Emily; great-grandfather of Grace, Sydney and Nathan. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, August 23, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette''s Church, 72 University Blvd., East, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, August 24 at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Robert Alan Bergeron sends his thoughts and prayers to all back home for Robert Dominic Bergeron. Bobby always lit up the room with his humor and kindness. I am so glad I got to spend time with him last summer and so sorry I am on the west coast this week and can't be with you all.

It was easy to love my Uncle Bob. Even though I didn't see him much he was a steadfast force and memory in my life.

I will always remember my Uncle Bob as a very laid back and funny man who loved his family more than life. There are so many childhood memories that will I will cherish forever. I regret I cannot be with my aunt and cousins at this very difficult time.
