Dear Barbara, Ellen, David, and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was a wonderfully fun, kind and intelligent gentleman, and the world is a better place because of people like him.
I will always cherish memories of our “family” get-togethers in Groton, Silver Springs, Salisbury, and Siesta Key. Some of my earliest childhood memories of Bob were at Salisbury Beach. Remember how he would rise and shine with us kids just to fix us breakfast? And just how baskets did Bob and my dad shoot to win those free rollercoaster rides for us at the Center?
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,

Dear Ellen, David & family.
Thinking of Uncle Bob has always brought memories of his smile, laugh, kindness and feelings of the warmth he always shared whenever we were in his company. Grammee, Big Charlie, your dad, my mom, Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Bud were a special group of people, as is your mom. They were always ready to spread the kindness that they all had in common. We living out of the country most of our lives did not have the pleasure of that much time spent here in the states and around family but whenever we were here your parents made us feel like we were so close and part of the family.
God bless sweet Uncle Bob, he is now with the rest of his family and I know is at absolute peace. God bless you, the rest of the family and especially Aunt Barbara. Our love and regrets that we cannot get away at this time to be wiht you.
Love, Sharon, Steve, Venicea, Kalli and Pete

Dear Aunt Bobbie, I so miss the days at Siesta Key and Salisbury Beach. You and Bob were always kind to us and we cherished your hospitality on our trips back and forth to New England. Amanda and Kristopher send their love and sincere condolences to you, Ellen and David. Bob will be missed as he was always so kind and fun to be around. It is hard to lose part of our family traditions and the people who made them so memorable. God be with you and your family and may Bob rest in peace. Love Steve, Amanda and Kristopher Richardson

Bobbie, Ellen and David, it is with much sadness that we hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Our family has been blessed over the years with Aunts and Uncles that set the benchmark for my generation to emulate. Bob was the best example of how a man can have such great love for his family and have traits that Saints would envy. I personally could not have asked for a better role model and want you all to know that Bob had a profound impact on me and our family that will always be treasured. Bobbie, Liz was a pretty good judge of character and always told us Bob is one of a kind.

We will all miss him and our thoughts are with all of you down there. We toasted Bob at Sunday dinner and we fully expect to see his soul at the Beach this summer!

Be well! Love to all.

Bob Grissett is a great guy! I felt privileged to spend some time with him and Mrs. Grissett and David and Ellen in recent years. I have many joyful memories of times in my youth of my family's visiting with the Grissetts in Groton, CT, Olney, MD, and Salisbury Beach, MA. Bob was a great chef and a great, warm, sincere, engaging, naturally and spontaneously generous and delightful fellow and host. When I told my mother Millie about his passing, she exclaimed, immediately, slowly and quietly, "What a dear, dear man." With her, my father Darwin, and siblings Dottie, Tom and Judy, I honor his memory!

With warmest regards and sincere condolences to dear Barbara, Ellen and David.
