To all of Bob's family:
I can't begin to express the sadness in my heart over Bob's death. Certainly all of us at MedStar Montgomery Recovery Room will miss him. He was such a great volunteer, hard-worker, and really part of our staff. We used to tease him we would dock his pay if he left early on Thursdays for a social occasion, or if he "geezed" too long after lunch on a quiet day. He took the time to get to know everyone who worked with us, including our student interns from the local high schools, and in this way he touched a countless number of hearts with his caring and his interest in them. There will always be so many special memories of Bob, but I am sure that his baking chocolate cookies on Thursdays will be one of the memories that will continue to bring smiles to each of the staff's faces. May God's blessings and love be with all of you. Although we have lost a truly wonderful person, I know that Bob is with God and is watching over the people that were in his life here on earth.
Thank you, Bob, for being a part of my life.
With deepest sympathy from Nancy Crawford, RN, MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.

Dave and the Mabie family, our love to all. We pray the God's comfort comes quickly. Bob does live on in all that he has touched along the way. Just finding out that he and my mom worked together after all these years and how she recounts memories of Bob after 30 years and how helpful he was at work.

Words simply can not describe the man "Big Bob" aka "Grumps" is. Even though we were only blessed to know Grumps for a few years; he was full of character and never held back from speaking his mind. May he forever be in our hearts and prayers as well as his family.

Love, Kylie, Gavin, Hope, and Jeff Rollins
